I may not be the most political involved person in the world, but this election meant a lot to me.

McCain and Obama put a lot of time and effort into this election. Now that Obama is our President I believe that Americans have tons to look foward too. America voted and Obama came out on top - simple as that.

Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican I am just thankful that everyday people got INVOLVED in this election.

I am not 18 yet, but I do voice my opinion as best as I could. I encourage everyone to do the same whether you can vote or not.

The results of the election were overwhelming. Everyone's first thought may be, "Wow! an african american won." My first thought is, "Wow. This is just a prime example that anyone can acomplish anything here in America." I am very satisfied with the outcome. In regards towards the propositions. Some of the results were not necessarily great in my opinion. It will always however, be a memorable election and I'm glad a lot of people participated in this years election.

I am so happy! Obama won! Yet I am not so happy, with some of the outcomes of the propositions. I believe that the rejection on Propisition 8 is not good. I believe everyone has the right to marry whomsoever they love. May it be a man with man or woman with woman they have the right to marry who they love. This prop. is unconstitutional.

Being alive to see Obama win is an amazing feeling. This is history in the making. All the stories we read from our texts book were before our time, but we are here to see this day.

I feel happy for most of the results that happen during the election. Although I was not happy for some propositions passing in the United States. I was also happy that Obama won the presidency because it meant that we are going to have different changes.

I think McCain should have won because Obama will try to pull the troops out of Iraq and if he does Iraq will just go back to the way it was.

I am very happy that Obama won.I am sure he is going to be an outstanding president. However I am not so happy about the outcome of Prop. 8
for everyone should have the right to marry whoever they want.

I really didn't care who became president, because I think that both were suitable and either of them would have made a great president. Obama won partially because he "attacked" the most important states such as California, who was one of the crucial states.

I think that it's great that Obama won the election. I would like to see what changes Obama can make. Obama's win will also be remembered for a very long time.

I think it is good thing that Obama won. We need some change in this world and I think that Obama can bring that change. I think that he is so rite, to solve a problem all you need is to talk it out not just to go and bomb something or someone.

Even though I am not a politically involved person, I am very happy with the results of the elections. All along, I thought that Obama was going to win. I think that with Obama as the president we will be able to move foward. Because I am still a minor, I am glad that many people think like I do and they will be my voice until I am old enough to make my own voice heard. I am honored that I was alive to witness this historical event.

Words cannot explain how I feel about the 2008 Election. In the past years I was never interested in politics, but this year I was really interested. When I heard that Obama had won, my heart was pounding and my smile did not fade.

Although I did not cheer for McCain I have great respect for him. His speech was spectacular. I liked the fact that he congratulated Obama and pointed out the reason why he lost. I never disliked McCain, but I always wished for Obama to win.

I have not always been in on the whole politics thing, but when i heard an African-American man was running for President, I had to take an interest. I was not for Obama, but by him being elected, you can see how progressive America really is. I am proud to say that I was alive to see Obama get elected. It was history in the making, now we are living it.

Even though I am not involded in political issues last night was historical for the U.S. For the first time in history an African-American won the presidency, from this I can see that everything in this country is possible.

The 2008 elections is and will be something to remember throughout history. For the first time in the United States we've elected a "black" President, and I am very glad Obama won! This does prove anyone can do/be anything!

However, I was not pleased with the outcome of proposition 8. In the past people have dealt with having "blacks cannot marry whites" and here it's pretty much the same concept, and we are denying their rights to having a legitimate marriage.
Yeah, I can see why parents don't want their children learning about homosexuality, but have you ever stopped to think about the kids that ARE gay and that WANT to know what's going on? Kids that are gay are sometimes TERRIFIED in revealing to their parents how they really feel. Now, wouldn't it be much easier for someone to actually learn about it and come out to their parents when they feel safe to do so?...
Oh and uhh... GO OBAMA! :]]

Although I am Not an Obama supporter or even an Obama "liker" I am still excited to what he does for our country. I see it as either being one of the most succesful presidencies or one of the worst. I cant wait to see what happens!!
