I do not believe they should bail them out, that's just how the economy works. people might not be buying cars right now, lowering the amount of workers needed in that industry, but more people will be buying car repair parts to keep their cars running, creating more jobs in the repairing industry.
I don't believe that they should. If they are in debt, then it is their own fault and therefore should deal with the consequences themselves. Yes, the economy and gas prices didn't help, but they need to just try their hardest and get back up on their feet. After all, that's life.
I believe we should bail them out that money because we don't have a lot of jobs and taking GM would take 3 million jobs away to the employees and the people will not have money.
I don't think they should bail them out. If they got themselves in debt then they should deal with it themselves. If we got over the Great Depression, we can get over this. America is the land of oppurtunities....
I think we should bail them out because millions of jobs will be lost and then how will anyone get money to buy products and the workers might also lose their homes because they can't pay.
i think that they should bail out the auto industry because we will lose jobs and more house will go under forclosure. we will lose over a million jobs!!
It is true that many people will lose thier jobs, but why keep them if they keep on spending excessive ammounts of money that many other people can use to pay their bills. The GM company should suffer for their consequences.
NOOOOOOO!!! I don't really think that we should bailout GM. They should spend all that money on something more useful. GM does not make fuel efficient cars making the buyers of there cars waste more money.
I belive that if they don't bail them out then thats 3,000 people will be jobless. And we all know that people must have a steady pay check then they cant support their family, bills, and house.
I think we should not bail them out because its there fault. They should have spent more time thinking about there expensives and they got thermselves into debt.
I think we shouldn't bail them out because they were irresponsible on spending their money. GM should've made more fuel efficient cars and they could've been making money instead of losing money.
I don't think that we should bail out the companies. Those people got into trouble way before we started to have economic troubles. These companies need to step up and fix their own messes.
The U.S shouldnt bail the auto industry, these industries have done enough for this economy. They have not been doing well then they should need to be bailed.
We'll i actully have two opinon we should bail out GM and we shouldn't cause hardly enyone buys GM but if GM goes out of business then the employes of GM would be jobless but if we do then the taxes will raise or wrost and the unfortunate would have a harder time to support there family....
I believe that we shouldn't bail the auto industry. It's not like they are spending their money very wisely. Instead they go on a jet spending 20,000 big ones!!! To go in a meeting for 2 hours! Either way the auto industry has earned the name as a wasteful association.
I believe that they should not bail them out. Sure, many people can lose their job if the U.S. does not bail the auto industry. Right now people do not have the kind of money to buy cars so I believe that the bail will not work a lot. Instead of buying new cars people always try to fix their cars. People buying car repair part can create more jobs.
I don't think America should bail out GMC. So far, all the bailouts given to companies, such as the 700billion dollard bailout passed a while ago, have been used wisely. If America wants to give bailouts to companies, then we need to put restrictions on the bailouts so that companies are not freely using the money however they want. Until we start putting restrictions on bailouts, we shouldn't be making them at all.
The U.S. should bail the auto industry under certain circumstances. Although there's a lot of money used to bail out companies, GMC is a part of America and its modernization. If America regulates the auto industry to produce more economy efficient cars, there should be no problem with giving GM a hand, especially if it will have an effect on the progressive future.

I think that they should bail them out because too many people are loosing their jobs.

Why not, the US bails everyone else out.
I don't think we should bail out GM. They're the ones who go on private jets, that take 20,000 dollars for a trip to a meeting.
They're losing money, and want more, but they're wasting the money they have now.
GM dosn't deserve it.
