What worries me the most is all the jobs that are being let loose because its hard to come across a good job with good pay when there are many people more educated going for the same job because they need it. And if your one to lose your job you might have to change your life style. ~justina fabela Hackett 6
I am not really worried about the economy so much right now, seeing that both my parents are not working right now. I am actually looking forward to what is going to happen the next couple of days.
I'm very worried about many things. First there's the many jobs being lost and even more t come. Then there's also the $$$. How is our school going to get money? This scares me deeply!
I am very concerned about the economy, California is the state most affected and hundreds of people are losing their jobs daily. My brother attends college but now he does not know what to do, he might drop out this semester because there is not enough money to pay for his books. I am actually planning to look for a job and take home-studies in order to help my family out. I hope the economy gets better, for the good of every family in need.
The state problem we are facing right now is really scary. im afraid we might not be able to eat later on. there's hardly any jobs, people are requiring more goverment help. when i go to the store it's really sad because some children are leaving the store wanting something, all the parents say is "we have no money":( This worries me a lot because you never know what might happen in the future.
I am very worried by the effects of the job loses. My mom just lost her job due to the job cuts. She is a single mom with 2 kids and it is very hard on her and it is hard on me and my brother. My brother is only 2 years old and the things we need for him are expensive and costy. So i am hoping that everything going on something good will soon come out of it all.
It is crazy how many jobs have been lost already. I think that these problems will ultimately affect us when we want to go to college because they are cutting their budgets and accepting less people.
What worries me most about the state's economy is probably the fact that so many people are losing their jobs. I do not know what will happen if my dad looses his job. A couple of days ago my mom told my dad that a lot of dairies have been closed down and probably another one will close down if milk prices do not go up. You see that worries me because my dad works at a dairy. If the dairy where my dad works at closes we might not have enough money to buy food or to pay our bills. So I am really worried.
The state's economy worries me a lot because there are many people loosing their jobs. Not only that, but students are also getting effected by it. We are getting less opportunity in our schools, by having less teachers and having classes taken away. I hope we get out of the state's economy crisis, soon.
I'm really worried about the economy right now. I mean I have hope that our new president and us citizens, the Americans, will do as much possible to make best of what we have and make things better. I'm scared for my mom because she's a single parent raising both me and my brother and supporting my sister and neice, so she has alot to worry about. So, let'sjust hope life gets better for Americans.
I am very worried about the state's economy. There are many things that are worrying not just me but most of the families in the state of California. The job losses and the cuts on education courses is what worries me the most. Non working adults won't get the economy on it's feet again. The govenor need a good bail out for the state before things become worse.
There are many things about the economy that worry me these days. The main one is so many people losing there jobs, and so not being able to support there family. Then a lot of schools are being cut off money and we don't have as much helping activities as we used to like the career center.
State problems...what can i say but WOW! This is a thought that really troubles me. What will happen to our country? Will we go into another great depression? I mean we are already cutting back classes and we might not even have a summer school! People are losing their jobs and buisnesses are going down what will we do? There is nothing left to do but hope for Obama to deliver the "Change" that he promised.
The ecomonic crisis we are in is definetely going to take a toll on the education system. From elementaries to universities, we will all have to adapt to the changes especially with all the budget cuts. Its definetely a major concern considering that my class is a less than 2 years away from graduating and heading off to college. I've heard that universities will be selecting students closer to their campus, so it will be harder for many of us to go to schools farther away from Porterville. I am trying to stay optimistic and I really do hope that we as a nation are able to come together and come up with a solution to solve this crisis. I know we may not see results quickly but any kind of progress is better than absolutely none.
The state economy is really depressing, literally. Many people are losing their jobs and many have to except IOUs from the state instead of actual money. Teachers for example are one of the people that have been told that they may have to except IOUs. Both my parents being teachers, this IOU idea makes me worried. Not only does this form of payment effect the teachers, but also the schools. Should teachers work without actual pay? Teacher's Unions might say "no!", and strikes might appear if an IOU system is put into place for a length of time.
I think the state problems are insane. It's crazy how many people are losing their jobs because the US has no money. Its not fair for them to lose their jobs while others are still waiting to see if they are going to get to keep their jobs or not. It's crazy. --Ashlyn Lopez period 7
The economy is suffering and Govenor Shwartzennegger is taking cuts on Government worker pay. My mom and dad both work for the government and we now have to cut back due to our recent loss in money. So pretty much i have less money for me to do anything at all. So yes i am pretty upset that our economy is suffering.
I am pretty upset with the cutbacks, because it has an impact on many families, such as mine. I mean how can I get that new game?! :P Really on the serious side, this controversy scares many families due to money problems... I am concerned about the outcome and how it'll affect my life, as well as others.
The state's economical crisis is very frightening for california citizens of all ages. I mostly fear of how it will effect me personally in wanting to go to college in a year and a half. Colleges are excepting less and less students because they cannot afford it. I also see the crisis everywhere else including lost jobs, lost houses, lost busineses, and hearing that everyone doesn't have enough money. Times will most likely get harder before they get better, but I hope that the economy will rise again very soon.
I am not really worried about the economy right i don't care about it i know people are losing jobs and companys are not hiring. But the economy is gonna come back in a couple of months.
It's really scary to think about what might happen in the future if this keeps going on. It's horrible and just doesn't seem fair that people are finacially suffereing and can not support their families. I just hope things change, and soon!
I very worried about a lot of things. But what worries me the most is the fact that millions of people are losing their job. Then another thing that worries me the money because without money life is hard.
I am worried about the economic crisis because many people are loosing their jobs, houses, cars, and many other important utensils need on a daily life basis. As a student I am also worried about the economic budget crisis leading to money and school cuts.
I'm not really worried about the economy, as long as gas prices don't rise to an arm and a leg again. It's too bad that some stores and restaurants are closing down, but at least there are new opportunities opening with Riverwalk. I think we'll be fine as long as the economy doesn't cause the government to cut education more than they have already.
What worries me is that state problems have been taking the wrong turn. Many people are losing there jobs and jobs are getting harder to find. Not only jobs are being lost but college expenses are increasing alot and it's becoming harder to find the money to pay for it. It's stressing to think about the future becuase the present isn't giving us much hope.
The thing that worries me the most is that colleges are cutting their budgets and this will make it harder for us to get into a good college.I am also worried about all of the jobs that are being lost and causing many people to have less money to provide for their familys. -Hackett Per. 6
What worries me the most is not being able to find a solution to the problem. I mean, if there is nothing done and we get deeper and deeper into the "hole," then what are we going to do once we are the ones to set out to find a job? Not only that, what about the problem with education. The educational programs are one thing that we cannot afford to cut back on. If there are no students being taught, then how will the adults who brought us into this mess, expect to get ourselves out? In my opinion, the adults of the last generation are the ones to blame. I just hope they are also the ones to get us out of this situation as soon as possible.
Today’s economy is going to cause many problems. These problems will start with the big businesses because their products are way to over priced. Then it’s going to hit close to home. Just recently my step dad was laid off do to the low demand for airplane parts but this also gave him the chance to back to school to farther his education so he can get a better job. The only problem is that if the economy keeps on the track it’s on now there won’t be any jobs to look for.
What worries me the most about the state’s economy is the state’s Healthcare. I’m worried that healthcare will cost too much and the already overcrowded emergency rooms will be used like public clinics. There are many people who already can’t afford healthcare and if the economy worsens I’m afraid nobody will be able to afford it anymore. The state’s economy is pretty bad right now and it really can get bad very soon; so I hope Obama can fix it soon. I’m worried about California’s budget and how it’s being spent, I hope it all gets better soon.

Well the economy is really bad right now but maybe Obahma can switch things around. One of the things that really worries me about this is jobs and education. This worries me alot because since the U.S. economy is really bad education is being cut just to make the budget which is really bad because tha means we can't take some of the classes we want. Also jobs are at risk of being lost for many people and that is really bad. Some how its like we are hitting another depression... Mariela Calderon per.2 hackett
The jobs, the money, the people, the economy. As of right now I'm very worried about the people that are losing their jobs. My mother works for Tulare County and she mentioned to me that many of her friends were being laid off because of the budget.
She began to get worried herself, but thankful she has been working for the Tualre County for a long period of time.
Still, she is worried.
And I can only imagine all of the young teachers and others that are losing their jobs because of budget cuts. All I have to see is that we need to find a way to fix our economy - even if it involves making taxes higher and such.
