This lady is dumb for doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. Seriously now with the crisis the economy is having there is really nothing anyone can do to help. She should have thought about what is going to happen when she has these eight babies. She could barely take care of her first six abnd now she has fourteen. Her mother knows she is not going to be able to control what has happened.
I think she should have been more prepared before making the desision because taking care of fourteen children during this economic crisis osnt going to be easy. Food stamps and donations isnt gonna cover everything and she also had to think about what her mother thought about it because she lives with her. And she will have to care for them too.
I think it was a very bad choice on her behalf. Aside from already having 6 kids another 8 is a lot of work! Plus she has her parents looking after them that is not good for the parents or the kids beacause there are 8 kids and only at most 4 hands to care and feed them all, and that her house is about ti hit foreclosure and she is in need of a job and a house. I think it would be best if she just put some of her kids up for adoption. I know she loves her kids and all but if she really did love them she would do whats best for all of them. We all know she cant support all her kids being a single mother all the necessities that are not going to be cheap especially now with the economic problems and everything. -Jose Estudillo Hackett Period 6
I personally think that it was not a very intelligent idea to have another eight children added to her six children already. She should have asked herself, why bring children in the world that I can not support myself. Nadya Suleman does have someone to help her, her poor mother that has had enough of babysitting. All we can do is accept the decision she has made and just wish her good luck.
I believe that her careless action is ridiculous! With only have a one bedroom home and an economy like this, how can she effectively raise all fourteen kids? She is definitely in love with her kids, but she hasn't seen how her kids' lives may be effected.
I think that she shouldn't have had the kids. One, she’s on welfare. Two, she already has six kids, and three, she doesn’t have a job! Having the octuplets was just a big mistake on her part. She can’t really take care of all of her kids by herself and her house is about to go into foreclosure. Plus the fact that she is asking for donations just to support her family. I think that it's wrong. I feel real sorry for the kids. -Kelsey Blackburn Per-6
I think that Nadya Suleman's decision to have octuplets was a risky decision. I believe that Nadya Suleman should have thought out her decision before she took it. Now that we are in an economic crisis it will be difficult for her to take care of eight babies. She will have the hospital bill plus all other expenses like diapers, food, clothes, and many other things she will need for the baby. Not only this, she also has to think about the future. It will be really difficult for her to send all eight of her kids to college. I just think that she should have thought about it more before she made her last decision.
i one-hundered percent agree with Wagner. I disagree with Nadya's brainless decision in having all these kids without any finacial support. She should have thought deeply about this before having her babies at risk of suffering. It is never a baby's fault for being born. So, Wagner's editorial proves all the cons that came and will come with Nadya's unintelligent choice.
I believe that this woman should not have been allowed to have been artificially been insiminated with octuplets. She already was responsible for six children, whom were all living in ONE ROOM with the mother's mother. Now not only can she not support fourteen children, but they are all living in an over populated house!! And again on top of that, she is asking for donations on their family website. Does anyone else believe she is trying to be the next "SEventeen kids, and counting?" show??
Nadya Suleman's decision in having octuplets was wrong. She shouldn't have gotten pregnant again, especially if she had already six children and had no income. Her choice in having more kids was wrong because the children are going to suffer a lot in life.
Nadya Suleman and her octuplets' has caused a controversy all around the nation. After reading and learning all about the story, I am just in utter disbelief. Suleman's decision to have all these children was foolish. She has no money, no job, no home of her own, and no husband or partner. Where did she even get the money to have these procedures done? Whoever Suleman's doctor was surely was out of their mind. They had to have wonder how this woman would be able to provide and care for these children. The doctor knew the risk and yet still let this crazy delusion woman have more and more and more and more children. Suleman denies that she uses her children for monetary incentive but her actions speak differently. She does receive food stamps which of course is government funding as well as other government handouts. She even has a website which in my mind is her way of earning pity money from her children. However we think of this, I only hope the best for these children. They were brought into this world by foolish decisions but it was not their fault. They all deserve an equal amount of love and attention as every child does. Hopefully Suleman can do something right and be the best mother she can for her children.
I believe that Suleman’s decision to have octuplets was on her behalf, morally wrong and selfless. I believe this because having six children on her own, is hard enough for single parents in this day and age. Sure she gets help from her mother, but now the granny of the octuplets is speaking out of being tired. I know that she probably really wanted to have a big loving family, but I believe that she wasn’t thinking morally right about how she is now going to take care of fourteen children.
Nayda Suleman's decision have octuplets artifically insiminated was not a bright idea. To begin with, she has a total of 14 children and she does not have a clear source of income. She cannot economically support all of them and she should not have to rely on others to help her raise them. She says she needs financial help but she did have the sufficient money to pay for her insimination.
Personally I don’t think that’s right for her doctor to have to let her have that many children while she already had six of her own. Plus now she can’t even take care of them so she only hurting herself and the lives of all these children who will have to live in poverty if she is unable to feed and cloth the properly. The babies were born prematurely, plus some of her other children all ready had disabilities, so this was just a harmful decision. Plus this women is having all these children on her own, without a father and that means that she is going to have to take care of them all by herself. If she does, how is she suppose to make a living for all these children? Is she seriously going to live off welfare to feed all 14 children? That's ridiculous. Maira Zavala Mr. Hackett P.2
Nadya Suleman had a monetary incentive for having so many children. She doesn't have a job and owes $50,000 in federal loans. She can't support herself or her children, and to top it all off she owes money! How can she deny having a monetary incentive when people see her moneyless situation. She also says that she plans to go back to college so that she can get a job. Sulleman plans to support her children by first going to college. Yet how can she go to college when she has 14 children, 8 of them being newborns? Nadya Suleman had a monetary incentive for having so many children.
I feel that the motivation for Suleman to be artificially inseminated with eight eggs, instead of the traditional two eggs, was a idiotic publicity stunt. Being a single mother with no means to care for six children let alone the new addition of eight premature infants is a travesty and criminal. Suleman presides with her parents in a three bedroom house and is not financially supporting her parents or her own children, who were also products of artificial insemination. But she couldn't have done this all herself... The doctor who proceeded over the act should be relieved of his license, due to his disregard of Suleman's financial status. This woman is a fraud and is now asking for support for people rather than getting a job and support herself and her oversized family. I feel that she did this as a way to seek recognition and for her consequences the children should not be supported by the state.
I don't think she is financially stable enough to take quality care for those children. I mean, she already has six kids and now 8 more! Wow, that takes courage, however, I couldn't do that if I were her. I think it makes her a good person that she is going to keep them all, but not such a good idea. I agree with her that they are human beings and all deserve to live, but for her to take care of them being a single mother won't work out. She needs someone else besides her mother to help out. I hope it all works out and wish her the best!
I think the only reason why she did this was that she thought she was going to become famous for having 14 children. I don't think she was saying the truth when she said she just wanted to give the children a chance to live.
I think that Nadya Suleman was acting selfish when she decided to have 8 more children. It is not wrong that she wanted to have the children, but what is wrong is that she had the kids and she does not have the money to provide for them all. She should have waited until she had the money to raise her children. She should have not had the 8 kids if she was just going to ask for help. How did she think that she was going to be able to care for 8 more kids when she has her parents looking after her other 6 children? It is going to be very hard for those 14 children to live a good life because of the economy crisis we are going through.
I think Nadya Suleman made a bad choice at a very bad time. Our economy is bad right now, and I don’t think she should’ve done this. Nadya had SIX children already and after the octuplets that makes 14 mouths to feed. I think children are great, but 14 are just too many. She is asking for help because she has so many kids and that’s her fault, it’s not like they happened naturally. I think she shouldn’t have done something like octuplets at this time, I think she should’ve settled for six.
This lady did not have a brain when she made a decision to have 8 babies added to the 6 she already has. She obviously did not think about the heath of her children when she brought them into a home of poverty. It was not right to expect people to give her charity and to be on welfare. She was not realistic, and she should be ashamed of what she has done.
I disagree with Nadya Suleman having eight children. She should have had a stable financial support system at home. She now has no money to take care of her kids. So how is she going to support them? She wanted to relay on the government and the support of donations to help her. She now has no way to support her decision. She should have waited to have kids. Ashlyn Lopez Period 7
I believe that Suleman made the wrong decision on having octuplets. She obviously does not have the money to take care of them,so why would she choose to have them in the first place. The economy is already horrible, yet she expects everyone else to take care of her financial needs. Six children are already a handfull, and now she must deal with 14. I mean, if she really would like to take care of all 14, she needs to look for a job to afford a bigger house. These children are not going to recieve everything they need to grow up healty, so i believe Suleman has some tough decisions ahead.
I feel that Suleman’s decision to have octuplets is completely selfish and wrong. There is no way one human being can take care of 14 children at one time, not to mention that Suleman is unmarried.
