Why do you think that the Democrats and Republicans can't work together to solve the nation's problems?

I think each party is in their own personal bubble and are scared to expand their views and work together. I think eventually though that theyre going to put their differences aside and help our nation out.
The issue between republicans and democrats goes all the way back to the pride that each group has. As far as i've known, the two groups have competed for anything. It's more of a tradition than it is a problem. I think that they are more in a race to see who can actually solve the problems, showing which group is actually better. I really don't know much about each group, but from the little i do know, I believe that it's a chance to prove themselves rather than a problem that needs to be fixed.
These people can not work together because they are always competing with each other. They each have different ways of veiwing the problems that are at hand. Each group wants to prove to the economy that they are better than the other. I do not think that they will be able to join together and solve problems. They will always be competing with each other.
I think they cant because they are two different sides so when side agrees then the other side wound not but they have to forget about the fact that they don’t like each other so that they can bring this nation back together
I believe that the two political parties are being immature by not compromising which is stopping them from working together to solve the nation’s problems. For example, California’s politicians cannot come up with a solution to the state’s budget crisis. This lack of money in the state is far more important than the rivalry between two political parties who should be working to better our state not worsen it. The democrats and republicans need to learn to act more quickly on national problems, and need to learn to compromise because there are always to sides to an argument.
Well these two parties just can't work together thats what I think. There ides are just to differet they have their own ideas about how the United States should be run. I guess the United States isn't really United in the form of potices. Rather than fight between ourslefs it would be better to sloved the problems surroneding our country
